Comms Consulting Ltd is based in Norwich, Norfolk supporting customers throughout England, Wales and Scotland.
Incorporated in May 2010, Managing Director, Karl Alderton set up Comms Consulting following a long standing career at BT. His vision was to form a completely independent telecoms company specialising in reducing costs to businesses of all sizes.
Our mission is to fill the gap between customers and suppliers. There are thousands of telecoms consultants across the UK promising to have the best and cheapest package. Most are paid by or are affiliated to suppliers, making them biased towards particular products or services. The telecoms industry needed a company to work on behalf of the end user, the customer.
We are on the customer’s side using our knowledge and buying power to negotiate better tariffs for our customers by going directly to the supplier. Most companies do not realise that by the time they have received their bill, there are six or seven commissions paid to representatives in the supply chain, that money has to be accounted for somewhere, primarily on the customer’s bill.
As much as 10-15% of telecoms expenditure can be attributed to companies having too many lines or mobile devices; paying for lines which are not used; misuse and abuse.
We don’t just look at saving money on tariffs and call charges; we perform a full audit to look for wastage and continually monitor to ensure our client’s get the right communications to suit their needs at every stage of their development.
Once we have identified and actioned the savings we take on the management of our client’s telecoms, dealing with faults, service and billing issues and providing advice.
